Hey everyone! We’re excited to finally share some updates about Mythic Realms—happening May 23rd – 25th, 2025 (Memorial Day Weekend)! If you came to Cosmic Realms, you already know the vibe—but this time we’re going bigger and taking advantage of the summer weather.

We’ll be back at Battlers Knob (the former Alderson Broaddus University), but with some new twists. Since it’s warmer, we’re adding more outdoor activities to give it a bit of a renfaire feel. That means:

• LARPing (because what’s a fantasy event without some live action?)
• Outdoor vendor spaces and music
• Special performances and maybe even some surprises along the way

A lot of the vendors you loved last time will be back, and we’re bringing in even more artists and creators this time around. It’s shaping up to be a really solid lineup.

We’re also excited to announce that the WV Astrophotography Association will be joining us! They’ll have some cool exhibits and might even give you a chance to peek through a telescope or two during a weather-permitting star party. We’re working on adding more STEAM-focused booths as well, so if you’re into the science and tech side of things, keep an eye out for more updates.

Since it’s the weekend before the Blue and Gray Festival in Philippi, you could easily make a whole week of it—some history, some fantasy, a little bit of everything.

We’ll have more details soon, but for now, mark your calendars and start planning those costumes. It’s going to be a fun one!
